The Cost of Carrying God’s Presence
On the Sunday of the 2026 Women’s Conference, three speakers share a message on the cost of carrying God’s presence. Sacrifice: carrying His presence means consecration (Romans 12:1), separation from the world (John 15:18), availability, even when it is inconvenient (Matthew 16:24), and a burden for the lost (John 3:16-17). Every sacrifice becomes evidence the world cannot ignore. Holiness: being set apart for God, both as a gift and as a daily practice (1 Peter 1:15-16) of discipline, prayer, the Word, accountability and quick repentance, as seen in Moses, Joseph and Daniel. Obedience: it flows from love (‘If you love me, keep my commandments’, John 14:15) and trust, not partial obedience like Saul’s, and it follows Jesus, who prayed, ‘Not my will, but yours be done.’
