Maturity That Shows in Character
Continuing the theme of maturity, spiritual growth and authority, this message calls believers to move from infancy to maturity (Ephesians 4:14-15; Hebrews 5:14) so they can exercise the authority Christ has given (Luke 10:19). Spiritual maturity is not about age but about becoming like Christ (Romans 8:29): moving from self-centredness to God-centred surrender, living above offence, showing self-control, and putting yourself in the other person’s shoes. Mature believers are marked by character, contentment, courage and trust in God’s timing, and they grow through Bible study, prayer, service and generosity.
