Living a Victorious Life Through His Resurrection Power

In the month of evidence of victory, this message explores Paul’s prayer in Ephesians 1:17-21: that we would receive a spirit of wisdom and revelation to know God better, understand the hope of His calling, and grasp the ‘incomparably great power’ that raised Christ from the dead. Knowing God personally, not just through what others tell us, is the key to exploits (Daniel 11:32; Philippians 3:10). Romans 6 teaches us to count ourselves dead to sin and alive to God, and Romans 8:11 promises that the Spirit who raised Jesus gives life to us. It ends with a call to be filled with the Holy Spirit: you are not a victim of circumstance nor a prisoner of your past, but a child of the resurrection.
