Evidence of Victory: The Power of the Resurrection

On Easter Sunday, opening the month of evidence of victory, this message starts from 1 Corinthians 15: if Christ is not risen our faith is futile, but He has been raised, the firstfruits of those who sleep. It sets out five truths. Victory was won at the cross. Victory is our identity, because Jesus said ‘It is finished’ and we fight from victory, not for it (Romans 8:37). Victory requires faith in the name above every name. Victory needs the power of the Spirit who raised Jesus. Victory is maintained through praise and the word of our testimony. It closes with an invitation to receive Christ.
