Stay in Your Lane

Preached on Palm Sunday, the last day of a week of fasting and prayer, this message takes Hebrews 12:1-2: lay aside every weight and ‘run with endurance the race that is set before us’. Each believer has their own race, not someone else’s. Leaving your lane is dangerous to you and to others, like a driver who cuts across traffic. Jesus is the model: He refused Satan’s shortcuts, followed the Father’s process, and humbled Himself before He was exalted. God rewards character, humility, obedience and faithfulness rather than status, so stay faithful where God has placed you and you will reach your destiny.
