Three Keys to Spiritual Maturity
Continuing the month of spiritual maturity, this message works through James 1:19-27 to draw out three keys. First, maturing saints grow through a disciplined life: swift to hear, slow to speak and slow to anger, laying aside filth and receiving the implanted Word that protects the soul. Second, they grow with a teachable spirit, being doers of the Word and not hearers only, so they are blessed in what they do. Third, they live out genuine faith: bridling the tongue, caring for orphans and widows, and keeping themselves unspotted from the world. As we grow, we walk in greater spiritual authority.
