Step Up to Maturity

Opening March, the month of marching forward and of evidence of maturity, this message says God controls the seasons but we control what we do in them. Salvation is not the finish line: God redeemed us to reign, and He expects us to grow from milk to meat, from childhood to ‘the whole measure of the fullness of Christ’ (Ephesians 4:13). Like Daniel, whose life made a king honour his God, believers are called to be God’s ‘body of evidence’. The way forward is an honest self-assessment, as the prodigal son made, followed by a renewed commitment to the Word, to prayer, and to the Holy Spirit’s help to step up.
